Daisy had grand plans of being a therapy dog, however a bout of Parvovirus meant that she missed out on the vital training she needed to be a safe, active part of the Think.Talk team. Now she spends her days lounging about in her home's backyard and barking at the occasional bird that tries to steal her food. She is also an active participant in events raising money for her chosen charity, Code REaD Dyslexia Network, to advocate for high-quality, evidence-based interventions for people with a learning difficulty.
Despite lacking the necessary skills to be a therapy dog, she has developed skills in other areas including ignoring commands unless the person has food, chewing all the sprinkler heads off the home irrigation system, and staring at Walter the grumpy cat whilst he suns himself in the window.
